 Real Estate INVESTMENTS

Investors can secure permanent residency in Cyprus through investment in real estate. The investment may be made by a company for which the main applicant and spouse are beneficial owners or majority shareholder. The owned real estate will be allowed to be rented for income. Any number of properties can combine to make up the €2.0 million minimum investment.

IMMEDIATE FAMILY

The main applicant may also add dependants to a citizenship application including the spouse and children, as well as parents. Children includes those up to (and including) the age of 17 years old and ‘adult dependents’ are adult children from the ages of 18 up to and including 28 years old (subject to their application being reviewed by the Council of Ministers prior to their 29th birthday). These adult children must indicate and provide proof that:

• They are financially dependent on the main applicant,

• They are students working towards either a first university degree, or a first master’s degree.

Additionally, an investor’s child with severe physical or mental disability that makes him or her unable to work is also considered as financially dependant. Parents of the main applicant may be included in the same application provided an additional investment of €500,000 (plus VAT if applicable), is made in residential property in Cyprus.

 SCHENGEN EUrope

The Cypriot Golden Visa allows investors to travel freely through the Schengen EU member states. There will be no need to obtain any further visas or documentation with the beneficial Spanish passport.
